Lenmed Health’s roots reach back to 1984, when the first clinic in the group was founded in Lenasia. Lenmed Clinic, Lenasia, was established as a community-oriented, privately owned hospital providing world-class medical care and specialist services. Today, Lenmed Health is growing to include a number of hospitals and allied health service providers in South Africa and southern Africa. From the inception, the spirit of caring, dedication and community involvement that has become the hallmark of Lenmed Health was evident. The sheer quality of healthcare soon ensured the popularity of the hospital and within a few years several expansion programmes were undertaken.
