THE ROCK GUEST HOUSE

The Rock Guest House is situated on the Eastern Side of Pretoria. The name is deducted from the fact that the house is build on solid rock. There is basically no foundation because of this solid bed of rock. The house was built in 1991. It was designed to incorporate all the natural rock and features where possible. The idea was to use a lot of wood and natural material.

Wapadrand has a very unique atmosphere. It has a typical Bushveld look and feeling, lots of thorn trees and other typical Bushveld vegetation. The thatch roof blends perfectly with the surroundings and enhances the Bushveld atmosphere. Wapadrand is a Security Village with 24 hour access control. Security vehicles patrol the area on a regular basis. This security feature is a very important factor for any concerned guest. The area is therefore crime free. Our philosophy at the Rock is to create a home for friends, not guests.
