PAUL GLUCKMAN OPTOMETRISTS

Paul Gluckman qualified from Optometry School in Doornfontein, Johannesburg in 1980. His first business venture began in Fore Street, Alberton in 1981 at a time when advertising and “open” windows was taboo. Pretty soon the demand for quality eyecare in Alberton exceeded the supply, and Bracken City Optometrists in Brackenhurst was born in 1984.

Paul’s good name and quality of Optometric service spread and soon Isis Optometrists of Sandton and Afri Optic Optometrists in Randburg was started. This was followed by Paul Gluckman Optometrists Roodepoort, Saxby Family Optometrists in Eldoraigne, Watermeyer Park Optometrists in Val de Grace, and lately, Corporate Vision Optometrists in Norwood joined the fold. New Redruth Optometrists is a joint venture with Hilda Van Niekerk servicing patients in the greater Alberton area.
