Situated on the premises of Birchwood Executive Hotel and Conference Centre, a mere stones throw away from Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg. Hi-Flyerz offers patrons an extraordinary eating and drinking experience. The decor is aviation orientated, providing patrons an interesting visual experience with a wide range of flying memorabilia, photographs, and aircraft models. As a world first, Hi-Flyerz has an original Boeing 747 “classic” ZS-SAL, “Tafelberg” flight deck (cockpit) centrally situated in the pub. The 747 cockpit protrudes onto a sunset deck, boasting excellent views of aircraft landing on Johannesburg's busiest runway whilst real-time air traffic control transmissions are broadcast on our outside speakers.
