Led by Terence Hayward, Hayward Construction and has been building, renovating and restoring fine homes in the Knysna / Sedgefield area since 1994. Adhering to the company traditions of honesty, quality and integrity, Hayward Construction has earned a reputation for top quality structures and beautiful results.
If you have a small building/DIY project that you feel might be too much for you to take on but too small for a contractor, Hayward Construction’s Handyman division might be the answer. Whether its laying some paving, moving a shower or building a garden wall, Hayward Construction is more than happy to take it on.
Call to make an appointment and Terence Hayward will personally have a on-site meeting with you. Different ideas and cost saving alternatives will be discussed and a quotation given – all free of charge with no obligation.
All of the above services are offered ‘in-house’ by Hayward Construction, thereby saving the client money by cutting out the middleman.
Whether you are looking for an affordable way into the property market as a first time home owner or whether you would like additional stylish accommodation on your existing property to bring in an extra income, Hayward Construction are proud to be able to offer a beautiful yet affordable solution.
We have developed an all inclusive package that provides you with a beautifully finished timber frame cottage, ready to move in, for an unbelievably affordable price.
Should you require something slighter bigger or a different configuration, the versatility of the timber frame concept allows for easy adaptation. Let us know what your needs are and we are happy to quote accordingly.
The French Bench was started for two reasons. Firstly, Terence’s long time love affair with wood and carpentry, and secondly, his wife, Kirsty’s long time love affair with all things old, French or old and French! This is a project they have been threatening to get off the ground for 20 years.
All the furniture offered by The French Bench is either custom crafted in our carpentry workshop in Rheenendal (as with our in-house range) or painstakingly ferreted out of bizarre locations (as with our one-off restored pieces).
