The provision of the medical screening programme will be delivered on site at the company. Medical screening tests like audiometry, spirometry and vision screening will help your company to establish if they are negatively affected by exposures at work. The service will be delivered by a nurse practitioner/s and is in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act No 85, 1993 and the Mines Health and Safety Act No 29, 1996 and will consist of the following elements: Full medical examination: Including urine test, height, weight, blood pressure and head to toe examination, and these specific tests: • Snellen – Vision test. / Keystone vision test for drivers, day / night vision • Referrals for laboratory tests and X-rays if required (at an additional fee for service). • Lung function test for employees exposed to dust and fumes. • Ergonomic desk risk
